Background
The

formed to promote sustainable community
development across the Formartine area and the
One of the six administrative areas of Aberdeenshire, Formartine encompasses the 3 main settlements and surrounding areas of Ellon, Turriff and Oldmeldrum.

many Community Groups across Formartine, and results from these highlighted a
perceived lack of ‘independent’ quality support and information provision
for communities. The
Partnership was formed and a management team of 12 was elected
to oversee the work of the group. The

was selected as the lead group of the Partnership, to ‘ensure and
promote continuity of operation’
